I directed this series of portraits from Glasser’s first album “Ring” that explores each interlude in the song. somebody to love
‘Somebody to Love’ is a feature film written by Mick Casale and produced by myself and Edward McDonald that is currently in development. Went to Thailand in June to shoot a short through Film Asia Expo’s 2010 Student Film Contest. It was an incredible experience and I’m thrilled with the results. Andinh Ha, my partner on the project and co-director, put together this behind the scenes footage. Enjoy!

Tiempo is a semi-finalist at the 2010 Angelus Student Film Festival in Los Angeles. This is one of the most prestigious student film festivals in the country! We have also been invited to screen at the 2010 HBO presents New York Latino International Film Festival!

Short Slam Finale at 92YTribeca!
Tiempo al Tiempo has won the Jury Award at the 92YTribeca Short Film Slam. The slam was juried by Rachel Chanoff of the Sundance Writer’s Lab, Development Exec from Mandalay Picture Jenny Halper and Screenwriter/Director Gordy Hoffman.  It was a great honor to receive the reward! Tiempo has been nominated BEST STUDENT SHORT at the 2010 Method Festival and was just awarded the ADAM BALSANO AWARD FOR SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE and won the AUDIENCE AWARD at the 2010 First Run Film Festival.

Tiempo al Tiempo screens in NYC!  →
Tiempo will screen as part of the First Run Festival and is running in competition for the prestigious Wasserman Award. Screening will run Thursday, April 8th at 9:30 pm sharp alongside 5 other great shorts. Be there!

Tiempo al Tiempo wrapped!
We just wrapped post on Tiempo al Tiempo, a 12 minute short dramatic film starring the wonderful Jaime Tirelli (Girl Fight, Sugar, Carlito’s Way) and introducing an incredibly talented up and coming NYC-based actor Arturo Castro. The film is off to festival now with fingers crossed. We’ll keep you updated on its progress.
