I directed this series of portraits from Glasser’s first album “Ring” that explores each interlude in the song. I always loved how the album never seemed to end and never really had a silent moment.

Directed by Tati Barrantes

Produced by Cameron Mesirow

With lots of help from Caitlin Rider

Camera by Kristina Nikolova and production assistance by Andinh Ha

Went to Thailand in June to shoot a short through Film Asia Expo’s 2010 Student Film Contest. It was an incredible experience and I’m thrilled with the results. Andinh Ha, my partner on the project and co-director, put together this behind the scenes footage. Enjoy!

Sarasota was a good time. Patti Smith blew my mind - one of my idols when I was 16 and still is. Elvis Mitchell, one of the most intelligent critics out there, was also a pleasure to meet. In my screening block was Lily Greenfield Sanders and Chloe Zhao. Also in the festival was Samina Akbari, my lovely producer, with her film The Visitors.
